It is Wednesday, and here we are.

A breath for Wednesday.

Ta-da!

I took a train from London to Aberdeen. I started a new Bulletjournal. I had some productive and helpful talks with people (in London) and a PhD supervision (in Aberdeen). I did some more Cecilia's List stuff, accepted there are some competitions I'm not going to enter, wrote most of a piece for another one (which I... probably won't enter, at this rate), and have written most of a piece for the Chapel choir to sing next week. I did a pile of LGQ admin, though there's a lot more to come. I know roughly what I'm bringing to my tutorial on Friday. I put some music online. Wow, that's a lot of stuff, when I had been feeling as if I hadn't managed anything. A breath for noticing.

The Hard

I've been very tired, and a bit down, in that can't-tell-if-tired-or-sad kind of way. I guess it's time for the strategy of Sitting Near Bright Lights Every Day. Rather inconveniently, I've left my Very Bright Lights Machine in London. The technology has come on a bit since last time I purchased one (around ten years ago) so it may be worth throwing money at this problem once I have some.

I had a serious case of DON'T WANNA when it came time to pack for Aberdeen, and I suspect it's mostly that I'm tired and that I've been spending more time than I'd like away from Beloved, but also self-care in general has been a bit iffy.

The Good

I found out about a High-Profile Performance of my work. Like, seriously high profile. But I don't know if it's okay to tell you, yet. Further details when I know if I'm allowed to share.

The Old Astronomer from the Musical Hat Draw got funded, so that sheet music is online now. I'm still aware that it's maybe too jaunty; I'm still fond of it anyway.

Quests

Tutorial prep
Finish the Chapel Choir piece go on go on keep going
Cecilia's List stuff
LGQ stuff

The PLN

Basically cycle through the first three Quests every day until the deadlines pass or the work gets done; add in the fourth when the first two are out of the way.

How are you?

What have you done? What are your quests? What is hard in your life? What is good? What is your PLN (or plan)? If you like hot drinks, what is a non-alcoholic hot drink that you enjoy? (If you don't like hot drinks, what is your favourite way to keep your feet warm? OK you can answer that if you like hot drinks, too.)

I am currently in a cafe drinking peppermint tea, so that answers one of the questions :)

In the past week I've done a bunch of paid work and a bunch of admin/organisation for Queer Code London, and been on lots and lots of trains (all within London).
